Hello,
I’m having some trouble. The battery died, and I can’t get into the boot to jumpstart it. It worked fine yesterday, but now, the lock barrel won’t turn at all with the key inside. I think I can hear the solenoid operating when I pull the lever, but the trunk stays latched and won’t open.
I’ve read about the “drill-a-hole” trick, but don’t feel comfortable doing it. So, my question is: is there any way to bypass it without drilling, or at least to jumpstart the car from underneath the hood, so that I can take it to a shop? Or do I have to call a locksmith?
