Hi guys, purchased a part completed refurb last year, the car has been bare metal re sprayed original colour olive and bodywork is in exceptional condition, however previous owner decided to strip everything apart from engine bay but made no effort to retain fixings or label anything. I have managed to get most items back to their correct position but where the cab differs from the coupe detailed info is a bit thin. To overcome the issues facing me I decided to source and purchase a second 1985 3.6 manual cab which although in need of restoration, is complete and untouched, perfect 3 D workshop manual. I also decided to treat myself to a heart attack whilst watching lap 7 of the Austrian GP. This event has given me a chance to rethink my options and your views on the following would be very helpful. I have been asked by a few people if I would sell parts from the second Cab, my original idea was to refurb this car after I had finished the 1984 car. Given the general shortage of Cabriolets in the UK, could you please give me your views on whether I should wait and sell as a complete unrefurbished car after I have finished my 1984 car or let the parts go piecemeal as and when. 🤔🤔🤔
thanks for your assistance.

Keep it and restore.
I had gotten my hands on a bunch of XJS, Porsche and Xk8 parts and had the grand idea of using eBay to make the available, selling and shipping, to the general public. I say that to say that the general public can be a fickle bunch and a PITA...
I think, with all you are looking at taking responsibility for selling to the "general public" (huge number of parts),, reviving the machine might prove to be a far more pleasurable experience, lol...
That's jus me...
