Default 1986 xjs v12 leak by the right front tire

Please help

anyone have any ideas on what this could be? its red which makes me think its transmission fluid but i just changed the power steering pump. as i filled the new pump the leak started to come up. all of the lines are at least 10 years old but they all go to the left hand side where the steering boot is. with the new pump, my steering is good now. I have no idea what this is. Please any ideas or suggestions would be great. Im in the middle of fully restoring the interior and getting it ready for paint.

My guess would be a leaking steering rack seal on the right side. It will leak into the protective boot then down the tie rod.

thats whats happening. how difficult is it to fix? i think the seal is pretty cheap. do I need a special machine to press the seal on?

You need a rebuilt rack, as it is the internal seals that are failing.
