1988 Jaguar H&E Convertible

Glad to hear that. The V-12's are bullet proof, definitely worth saving. I've had my car since '96 and did all the mods myself etc... Kirby Palm's free online look is excellent. I also have a H&E factory shop manual, so if I can research anything, shoot me a note. Check your rear window drains, they clog up easily. The fix is to drill out the tiny drain holes, make them bigger, and also add a couple of extras. At least that's what I did and then I POR-15'd the inside of the panel and under the car.
Are you bolting on an auto or stick in with your LT1?

Thanks. Yes. I've had the Kirby Palm book for years. Invaluable.
The H&E was too far gone to save. I bought it for certain spare parts: motor, windshield, climate control unit, fenders. I completely disassembled the car and sold many items although I still have some available. I sure learned a lot taking it apart.
It was a beautiful car in its day. Creamy white with blue interior and top.

Besides my other Jaguar projects, I have been slowly getting the H&E ready for paint. All of the rusted areas were cut out and replaced with new metal and all of the body work was completed a few weeks ago. Because of the abnormally cold weather here in Florida, I am just waiting on some warmer weather to complete the paint job.
One day last week the temp was in the 70's so I sprayed on a pretty heavy coat of the basecoat and sanded it back.
Here is where it's at now.
