UPDATE:
IT RUNS! Without hesitation now! Turns out for whatever reason, that the new (used) AB14 ignition amp did the trick! I was lucky enough to find a used guaranteed working unit for $55. Now she will rev up without hesitation and runs smooth. This was the first time I was actually able to “drive” it without problems. WOW do they have a lot of torque. It did seem to idle just a bit rough after driving it for 20 min or so, but for now I’m going to attribute that to idle adjustment. I have to thank everyone on this forum for their help and suggestions, what a great group of people with amazing knowledge. I do have a few other electrical issues to sort through (passenger seatbelt, window wipers, power antenna, and climate control not blowing air through vents) but I believe a new post for those issues would be proper since the initial problem here has been solved.
To recap for anyone else following this post:
New Alternator
New plug wires
New cap
New rotor
New (used) AB14 ignition amplifier
New injector lines and seals
these items replaced fixed my no start / erratic run situation.

Remove the 4 bracket screws, remove bracket, drill with 10 mm drill. Refit, installieren alternator.
Important: the bracket for the tensioner was alter so you'll want that too.
