1989 XJS Convertible
Morning Everyone,
I recently bought my XJS, and was told there were no operational issues with the A/C. Which I have found to be half true so far. The heater works well enough to thaw the polar ice caps, but I run into an issue when I try to turn the selector switch to cooler temps.
I feel the first issue that needs to be addressed is the selector switch, which spins freely on the knob. I believe that the inability to cool the car is tied to something as simple as turning a knob.
How do I safely and securely remove the panel over the air control to check the knob's ability to control the mechanism behind it?
Thanks,
