1992 XJS Cabriolet Hood Cover

I took an unused and uncared for (for some time) cabriolet roof cover and washed it with some sunlight and a soft brush. Washed a couple of times rinsing really well. Hung it up to drain off a bit and was able to stretch the material over the roof and snap the cover into place. I am leaving it to dry in place for a few days and believe it will be O.K. If not, next time I guess I will try the wet stretch again. Don't know a source for new ones if this is the cover your talking about. Upholsterers?

In the UK, there's always a few new ones lying around on ebay. If it's really important, a good upholsterer will be able to make one up in whatever fabric you desire.
I'm assuming that as it's a 92, you mean a Convertible not a Cabriolet? New or used Cabriolet covers are much more difficult to find over here, whereas Convertible ones are ok to find.
Remember that there's a difference between 2 seater and 2+2 seater hood covers. Make sure you get the right one!
Good luck
