Obvious questions:
What voltage can you measure on the battery terminals?
What voltage can you measure on the bulkhead terminals?
When you turn on the ignition, do the ignition lights come on?
Is the alarm turned off?
is the inertia switch definitely not activated?
Does it make any difference to cranking if you put if in Neutral first?

When i first got mine it wouldn't turn over at all. Long story short, it turned out that the one trace in the transmission rotary switch had burnt out. It was the one for neutral and park so it never knew it was it park and wouldn't let it even try to start. Not saying that is your problem, but the guy i got it from said that the previous owners family tried charging it and then it wouldn't even try to start again. Never know, maybe somehow it overloads the system and fries it somehow
