1994 xjs turns over won't start
I recently had a check engine message and an F11 code. My battery had run low so I thought that might be the problem. Checked forum and suggested disconnecting battery and reconnecting to clear code. Did so, and although check engine message is gone, car turns over but won't fire. Prior to disconnecting battery, the car ran fine even though I had the check engine message. Can anyone offer help? Could it be the throttle position sensor has now failed? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Thanks for the response and the recommendation. Although I am a bit embarrassed, I thought I should admit that the reason the car wouldn't start is that I had installed the air filters backwards so that the metal part blocked the intake...Once it dawned on me and I installed them properly the car started and purred like a kitten with no check engine message...

1. If you recently did work to your car and it suddenly misbehaves, go back and double check your previous work. Even if you think you did it right its easy to make a mistake.
2. If a car suddenly stops working always check the basic stuff first. The problem is more likely to be something simple as opposed to the less likely oddball stuff.
