Hi everybody,
I'm posting this here for a customer of mine. His XJS was badly dented during a hail storm a few months ago. It is beyond paintless dent repair. Also clear coat is peeling on the hood and trunk. I would guess a proper paint job with repairs would be $5-6k.
Mechanically sound, top is in good shape, interior is very nice.
He is ready to move on- started out asking $7500, price reduced to $4500. Clean title.

White with.tan top somehow makes the car look more elegant than other colors, including my own BRG... with 5k you can find a very nice paint job, which will keep the car under$10k, not a bad price for what appears to look nice, plus decent miles. I have seen hail damaged cars and it can get pretty nasty, very work intensive, which may drive up the price.
Hope he sells it well.
Cheers,
