Question regarding the O2 sensors on my 96 xjs, 4.0L.

My XJS has 4- 4 wire sensors for the O2 system.

Can you tell me what each of the wire colors mean.

I have a blk, wht, ylw, and red.

If I am correct :

1 = signal
1 = earth or ground
2 = heater

The question is “which is which”?

White with Brown Stripe is Power
Blue with either Pink or Brown Stripe is Heater
Blue with Purple Stripe is Ground

and then solid Blue, Green, Red or Brown, no stripe is Signal

Jagrepair will have wiriing diagrams. The colors I've given you are the Jaguar Harness colors. Once plugged in, you should be able to figure out which wire connects to which?
