1996 xjs celebration conv. Built and sold in the US market

Something doesn’t seem correct?
my 96 xjs was built in December of 1995 and has a serial number of 225195. This would indicate more than 3340 total units built assuming mine wasn’t the last.
the chart indicates a total production of much less.
please let me know what I am not understanding.

Paul,
First of all that table is by year of manufacture, not what the US refer to as Model Year.
So some of those 1995 cars are pre-Celebration and some are Celebration. All 1996 cars are Celebration.
Also, naturally you have look at the different columns for Coupes, Convertibles, 4.0 & 6.0 to get total figures.
