1992 marelli is as pictured below we group ours like this as the two rotor end point 180 degrees and makes the cap end up sorting the wires this way...
I would have to do another animated GIF for that... the black dot would not just go around the cap it would go around the cap popping back and forth 180 degrees or like two travelling around the cap opposite of each other..

on my computer it is 1a fires 25 times in a minute and it fires every other revolution so mine is running 50 RPM

Rotor is two-ended right? So does it fire two cylinders on opposite banks simultaneously? Surely not, but If not, how? Is the rotor offset at one end by 30 degrees? High / low sides? Mysterious to me.
Big difference in the two dots going around at 180 degrees apart and the dot jumping back and forth across the dizzy!

Hmmm. I've wondered about the Marelli ignition. I don't have one and I don't understand it. Rotor is two-ended right? So does it fire two cylinders on opposite banks simultaneously? The firing order for all versions of the jaguar V12 is identical, I have been informed by someone who should know.

so when 1A fires... the next piston in the seq it 6B it is right by 6A 30 degrees off... so the other end is now 30 degrees more to the direction of rotation lining it up with 6B as 6A is right across from 1A
they are grouped that that all around... 1A 1B 2A 2B (kind of confusing if you did not know that it goes back and forth...)
makes for ease of HT wiring though

My new wires finally arrived. Two sets of 6 cyl Taylor 409 spiro wound 10.4 mm wires.
I also ordered 180 degree distributor boots and custom cut the wires. I decided to do 180s instead of the regular 90 degree boots because there's no reason all those leads need to be jammed down in the vee baking and criss-crossing.
This will look better once I get the new fuel rails fabricated. I cut them for the future layout and had to compress things a bit to fit within the jag fuel rail barricade.

Really nice graphic, one more request, could you please possibly do the Lucas one with the firing MUCH slower? Say about 3 seconds a cylinder - for the older generation like me? I love the dizzy lighting up in sequence with the cylinders, GREAT idea!
And what are those smart looking gauges you have under the hood?

Single gauge is fuel pressure. Dual gauges are both vacuum. One tapping at dizzy and the other tapping the manifold. All are temporary, strapped to the braces with large hose clamps around them and a smaller clamp; smaller clamp around the brace. Just until I get things sorted out.
Here's a slow lucas gif and a marelli with a bad "A bank" coil.
Lucas slower
Marelli, coil A failure

Mine go 1A is pluggedd into, wow, 1A
1B is plugged into, yes, 1B
2A is plugged into, yes, you're right, 2A.
Why would they put the letttering on the distributor cap? And why should yours be different?

Finally Thankyou once again you didnt say yes on the other post and because when i wired them that was the car as i said were popping but like u said i may have got some leads wrong will do it all over again to make sure and also because i got told they after market caps and the numbers dont mean anything and i should start with 1A and go anti clockwise on firing order...
But i will do it the way you have said and give i feedback on how it went Thankyou
