88 V12 ABS yellow warning light flashing

So........ I had another look for the elusive brown connector or any other connector taped up out of the way with which to use for the blink test and found nothing??
Did get wet fingers from moist carpet in the LHS rear fender 'footwell'. Wondering if this might be related to blockage of the drain adjacent to the gas cap?
Took the car for a drive and I did learn something!!
the flashing yellow ABS light came on twice, both times when braking and having the left turn indicator on. The flash frequency exactly matches the flashing frequency of the turn signal?? Only did it with the Left turn indicator on, not the right, and did not happen every time I braked to turn left.
electrics not my strongpoint, but this suggests both ABS light and turn indicators share a circuit?
Must look at the wiring diagram.
Thoughts?

Quentin,
The connector and its wiring is part of the wiring loom that feeds the ABS ECU plug. So just come back from the plug 6 inches or so and you should see it. Are you sure it isn't that connector with the end taped up in your pic?
As regards your flashing ABS light, maybe there's a current crossover happening between the indicator and ABS light? Perhaps pull the instrument cluster and carefully check the wiring plug and ribbon cable.
Cheers
Paul

The tape you can see in the pic is actually an adhesive pad that was trying to anchor the wiring.
Did they all have the plug I am looking for, because I am pretty sure mine does not.
Ah good thought re. The instrument cluster. Beyond the indicator related flashing issue, the brakes feel fine, so it seems to be a false alarm.

Sorry, I'm not being very clear. The wiring with the blink test connector is part of the wirring loom that is feeding the abs ecu plug. It's taped up as part of that wiring loom. In your pic, there's what looks like a taped plug with 2-3 wires in it, just pointing to the bottom of the ecu ( come down from the ecu plug, go up the "U-shape" of the wiring and we can see something there with what looks like a bit of black tape on the end of the wires. Is that it?

Thanks for clarifying. Ah! You mean this:

I have no idea! I saw one non-XJS blink test connector and it was appeared to be a brown coloured multipin connector you had to short out.
Not seeing a black and a brown/pink wire in the pic above though. RIght now I am suspecting no fault beyond probably poor connectors in the dash, so will have to investigate further. Taking the instrument cluster out is just undoing a few screws I am hoping (car parked away from my house, so can't immediately check).
