Default '94 convertible auction

There's a '94 Brooklands Green convertible on eBay with only 17,106 miles. It looks like nobody ever sat in it, incredible. The auction still has one week to go. Some lucky fellow out there is just about to enter XJS ecstacy...

It is first on the '94 Jaguar XJS page.

Cheers,

My guess is that the reserve is pretty high and the car won't sell.

Also, notice that the front spoiler is broken and the under tray is missing (probably fell off when the spoiler took a whack(s). Front and rear bumpers will need a repaint and hopefully that large blemish on the bonnet will compound out, otherwise an expensive respray there too.

If the reserve is reasonable someone might get a nice car ;0

I must've not looked at all the pics because I missed the hood blemish. It actually looks kind of the nasty type (birdy?) and I'd assume that, being a dealer selling it, they'd know better in regards to product presentation 101. For instance, the left rear bumper blemish is small and it could've been repaired without great effort, yet even that was left there to limit what they can potentially get due to the low miles.

Well, if that one doesn't work, there's another XJS as good, or even better, also on eBay. It is an ideal "Arizona/California" '95 V12 with only 23,000 miles with a "Buy it now" of $25,500. The only thing that I find questionable is the color. It is an OEM color, in between cooper and burgundy that I had never seen before, a really sweet car.

It is the XJS that I would buy, myself, first, if I could afford another XJS, second, and I could still stay married and, third, if it was either on Sapphire Blue, or Flamenco Red.

That Flamenco Red convertible is soooo sweet. If I had $25K, I would spend it.

So would I.

I'd love to bring in a V12 brother to my I6. Nice to own both versions.

Cheers,
