95.5 4.0 Engine Won't Accelerate
I discovered a new problem today.
The engine starts and idles perfectly but won't develop more than 1000 RPM and has minimal power.
What happened? Oh yeah well I decided to rinse out the AC Condenser with a hose and then this all started. Well, I was a mile down the road when it started.
Q: What is this mysterious problem?
A: Water in the wiring harness for the crank position sensor.
Resolution: Took the connector apart (front of the engine above the alternator), blew out the water, sprayed in the WD-40 (Water Displacer - 40) and all was well again.
