95 XJS Remove passenger airbag and clima control
Hello.
My name is Kris and I "am from Poland.
I make little restoration in 1995 XJS but i have got two problems.
Can you tell or show me how to remove passenger airbag and clmate control panel ?
I need to renew wood on this part of passenger airbag.

Kris,
There are four bolts that hold on the passenger airbag, which has to be removed in order to get to teh veneer. The Service Manual explains how to do it, which is very time consuming as you have to pull the whole of the dash backward. I know one guy who claimed he was able to get to the four bolts without moving the whole dash. However, I also know a couple of guys who've done it and swear that it's not possible without moving the dash a bit! Be careful with that airbag once removed! Put the lock button in the correct position. Go and buy the proper manual from Jaguar if you're going to run one of these cars.
If you do need to remove the climate control panel, then pull the two main knobs, plus small knob on face-temperature slider. Behind the two main knobs are two nuts which you then undo. You can then remove the panel but be aware that there is a wiring plug on the bottom.
