96' XJS with New Lloyd's Mats
Well, the Lloyd's mats fit the foot wells better than I first thought. They're snug, but not too snug. So no complaints. I ordered what they call their Luxe style. More of a luxury pile (48oz) than sporting style. The mats are thick and heavy. And the workmanship appears first rate. By now, with the age of these cars, it would be almost impossible to get an exact color match (or even close) to the original carpet color. So I decided to go with a light contrast between the carpet and seat with a contrast color binding on the mats. Anyway, I'm happy with the final results.
I also purchased (from elsewhere) a pair of clear, stiff vinyl mats as protective overlays for the new mats. They generally fit ok. But the passenger side will need a small amount of trimming. But otherwise, happy with these also. They have long, stiff spikes on the back that really grip the mat carpet and don't move around while getting in and out of the car.
I purchased the Jag in 2000 as a 50th Birthday present to myself LOL. It had 19,000 miles on her. And I could tell she had been garaged. So, I'm now the second owner for the past 23 years with 54,000 miles and still enjoying her as much as the first year.
Anyway, I'm impressed with the quality of the Lloyds mats.

I went with Lloyd's for my 93 a few years ago and what they sent was completely wrong. Needless to say after much back and forth, I sent in a pair of paper cutouts of my factory mats, and they sent me another set based on those. They fit perfectly. Who knows, maybe yours are based on my template lol. I think i have the same color as you too.

Hi Time
My Lloyd's mats "just" fit. LOL Just a tad snug. But it works. So yes, maybe Lloyd's made a correction at some point back then. I'm also happy that the mats length comes all the way back to the front seats (via 96' style). And my lower seat cushion is almost all the way back.
