Default aj6 Heads On A 5.3

Greetings all, Some time ago whilst surfing this internet thing I came across a company (I think in the UK) that manufactures a timing cover that assist the adaption of the 4 valve heads on to a 5.3.

Unfortunately I failed to bookmark it, and many hours of searching, have failed to find them again. Has anyone seen or know of this company??

Thanks for your help

No longer exists and never did have an engine actually running. called Warrior automotive. Check AJ6 Engineering website for the info on this idea, which is somewhat of a non-starter compared with just going bigger capacity on the V12.

There is a very knowledgeable guy in Australia, Norman Lutz, who has done this conversion very successfully, but it is not a cost effective way of getting power from the V12 compared with going out to 7 litres and keeping it all relatively simple.

I agree with Greg, 4 valve is not economical on the V12, and if you look at the research TWR did the 4 valve did not make more power until over 6000rpm.

Large capacity - 6.5L plus is the way to go. 78,5mm crank with 93mm bore will give 6.5L and 450hp and torque to lunch most transmissions.

I'm building a 6.5 motor, so id agree with warron. I used a 74.5 crank and a 96mm bore.

the 4 valve heads could in theory be done but I don't see the real practicality.

the company you are thinking of is v12 sales in Texas

some place in my pictures,i have a picture of that Texas 4 valve V12 Jag engine, ULTRA money spent, that happens a lot with texas oil money!

nice living here, they last year finished a Formula 1 race track, at the cost of $350 million dollars, brand new,and drivers love it, say its about the best track to date!

only 15 miles from me!
