ALBS diode location

ALBS diode location
Hi everyone,
I am continuing my quest as to why my ALBS warning light is constantly on. Am checking all the regular stuff but becoming convinced I have a less common fault somewhere.
Have become suspicious that the diode between terminal 3 of the ECM and the warning light is not working properly. I have seen it referred to as "diode No.1" in some publications and to be located behind the auxiliary fuse panel (passenger side - same one that houses the ALBS fuses). However, this was in a North American publication and not sure if this is the same for UK cars.
I had a quick look with a mirror behind the fuse board but couldn't see anything although visibility was very poor. So does anyone know if this diode normally sits behind the fuse panel or is located elsewhere on the car?
Thanks for reading,
LeeP
