Default all electric

finished the fan conversion pic 2, but while the rad was moved towards the engine
I noticed a lot of grass cuttings debris in the rad but the condenser was clean, the only way in is over the top of the condenser and under the top rad support, pic.1 should this gap over the condenser be filled with foam? (taken from the front ) looking at that picture I may try to find a trans cooler to fit in the middle of the fans, suspended from the top support.

I wouldn't worry about that gap, especially if you have the rad sealed against the top support. I believe in sealing around the radiator with foam, but, there are also members here who have run without foam for years, with no adverse effects.

Clean Good looking Engine!
Let us know how the fans work. My electric tends to run down the battery when hot!

I had that happen with the air-con fan only in a 1hr very slow moving traffic
jam a couple of years back on a hot sunny day. I changed the battery
box recently to take a larger than standard battery, so fingers crossed on that one, the 2 fans I have fitted are both 80watts.
