Based on this you need to replace the fan clutch as well.

Oil pressure will go down as the engine heats up this is due to the oil becoming more viscous as it walms.

Warm the engine up then turn the engine off and the fan should only rotate 2or 3 turns, mine used to turn 4or 5 times and I used to overheat in traffic, the car cooled down again once above 40km/h

If its the fan (as you sit in the car) located on the passenger side mine spun a bit as well. The AC fan doesn't even work.

A better description is on the right side. There are people from many countries here. Some are RH drive and some are LH drive. Left and right is always as you sit in the car.

Yes the fan clutch is on the right side. It is the mechanical fan run by the belt.

Right side fan spun a bit, but I never overheat oil pressure just goes down to below 25.

Oil pressure is below 25psi but the important part you forgot to tell us is at what engine rpm?

My oil pressure was down on the bottom of the scale at hot idle and a simple oil and filter change fxed that, probably 1/4 way up the gauge at hot ide now.

Also, where is the coolant gauge reading when the engine is warmed up fully? That electric fan should still be coming on when the engine is above a certain temp regardless of whether the AC is on or not.

Sorry I should have been a little more specific, my bad,

The fan on the RH side driven by the engine belt has a viscous clutch, what the clutch does is vary the power to the fan. The clutch has a fluid in it that as it heats up provides more drive to the fan. If this does not work properly the car will over heat below 20-30km/h. Once you start driving faster the air flow through the front will keep the car cool.

Oil pressure in the V12 is very low at idle, my gauge sits almost at the bottom and as you rev past 1500rpm the gauge will move up. This is normal. Can you post what numbers the gauge pointer are on at idle and 2000rpm.

50 on oil at idle(when cold), when I'm driving and warmed up and at a stop light it's between 0 & 25 ( say like 12). At 2000 rpm it's about 40

The engine is 100% normal for oil pressure, then. Nothing to worry about.

Yep agreed

Pressure is not the most important part FLOW is, like a garden hose if you put your finger over the end the pressure goes up but the flow will decrease. The V12 flow oil very well but the pressure is lower than most cars. This is OK.

I can't thank you guys enough. I feel soo much better now. I was told it was common in the V12's. Now just to get the stupid coolant leak found and fixed and I'll have no problems with her. (knock on wood) lol

OK... Diana's rad is leaking from underneath, so I have to have that fixed. My mechanic is sending it out to be repaired, we're looking for a rad now because I don't want a crappy aftermarket radiator. I'm so sad right now!! This is the biggest job my baby has ever needed. I've only had to replace lines for her. Now she's having an "operation".

When my girl needs an "operation" big or small, I always stroke her flying buttress and tell her it'll be ok
Good luck with the op

our V12 have solid lifter valvetrains, so theres no need for any more oil pressure than that.

There are no lifters in this engine.

What are lifters? Now I'm really confused. Also, my rad is being sent out for repair because we can't locate one for my car... So I'm really angry!
