Default Anyone recognize this wire?

We'll see if this photo upload works.

'85 coupe V12.

Anyone recognize this wire that's badly frayed on my car? It's white with a red stripe and fairly heavy gauge, heavier than 90% of everything else. You can see the trans fluid dipstick in the pic for a location reference. There is a spade connector, also in rough shape, just below and out of the pic (you can kind of see the top edge of it).

I'm trying to track down a miss today so I have been going through and cleaning up wiring connections under the hood and found this. Problem is it's a bear to get to and I stand an excellent chance of damaging something else in the process. Just trying to determine if this goes on the "immediate" fix-it list or the "eventual" list.

Thanks,
D

Looks like the wire that goes from the starter relay to the starter solenoid.

Cheers

That explains the heavy gauge. Thank you!
