i'm thinkin by the time its in a vehicle and running $100K.
should do better than 500hp , but either way torque should be outstanding, 7+ L should easily around 650+ lbs ft.
and they don't say about higher flow heads, the power in the jag V12 is in the cylinder heads
yup ;i bet we could pass some one with that!

My 50K estimate was for the engine, not sure about the car.
Classic Jaguar is in Austin, you can pop in and ask... Maybe organize a group buy😂

i have visited there shop out on 71 north, around 2006!
very nice place, but when speaking with desk person about V12 XJS, they said they specializes in E types only, kinda cold vibes!
i know i can do the same BASIC engine work for around 10K, using local Austin machine shops, and include forged custom pistons of personal design!
but i'm gettin older, so time frame would be tedious.

i like the combustion chamber on top of the piston, thats where the push should be!
BUT many engines have chamber in the head, but heat is wasted there and overheated chambers does NOT control Detonation well!
today forced induction is the realistic way to go,IF horse power is needed and efficnciy is required, and Direct chamber injection used, along with 4 valve twin cams!
lets face it if you were to cast and machine NEW heads thats the way to go!
some times beating a dead dog is a waste of money!
unless of course you just want to amuse yourself!

This is going to be interesting... welding up and reshaping the combustion chamber on HE heads
Megasquirt as well.

You will also need to to change the spark plug position as it is high in the exhaust pocket. Bringing it down will then interfere with the exh valve head.

Yes, the blog says they are moving the spark plug position. I’m not sure why they didn’t weld up the original position before surfacing the head.
