I was doing a little work in the engine bay this weekend and noticed this loose connector tucked away out of sight in the radiator insulation foam. Then found an identical one on the opposite side - they are in the front left and right hand corners of the engine bay and I can't see anything to connect them too. The four wires running to each connector are blue, blue, black and green. Just wondering if they're supposed to be hanging loose like that? The car is a 1989 V12 HE. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

These connections are for headlamps washers, wipers.
