I looks complicated because of the bits for the sills which have to be glued on, and as I seem to remember so do the tunnel and rear floor (at least on the coupe). Also there are holes for the seat belts anchorages, hand brake, etc etc.
I Would start by just placing them dry on the floor until you have all the bits properly fitting like a jigsaw, then start gluing in the "lowest" ones. The overmats just sit on top of the basic carpet.
Do you have the sound deadening from your originals? If not you do need some, but I would not glue it down until you have all the carpet pieces understood; then glue the deadening, then the carpets.
