Default Chassis # 198333 or 198334
I have a 1995 XJS. How do I know if it’s chassis # 198333 or 198334? This makes a difference as to what rear brake hoses to order.

It's probably up to 198333 or 198334 onwards.
Check your vin # and you will know

Look at the windshield VIN tag, the numbers referenced are the last 6 digits of your VIN.

And don't worry, the brake change point is from 198335!
