Clean and coat convert top with 303 Fabric guard.
I got stuck in and used the 303 products to clean and coat the convert top this weekend.
Very pleased with the results.
1 - wash top with fresh water
2 - spray with 303 Fabric & Vinyl Tonneau And Convertible Top Cleaner
3 - scrub with a soft nylon brush
4 - rinse very well
5 - tape up for over spay
6 - let dry
Water now beads of the top and it is UV protected, a once a year job.
Spray on cleaner
Scrub
Spray on fabric guard, some product did soak through the paper... but wiped of ok.
Dried and go to go for 12 months.

Hi Duke
Your Soft Top looks Amazing!
But the Rubber Seal round the Rear Window may need a bit of 'Tweaking' or Water could get in
After 14 years of Standing the Soft Top on my own Car 'Cherry Blossom' looked in a bit of a State but I managed to find the Original Jaguar 'Soft Top Cleaning Kit' that came with the Car, which Cleaned it up like New!
You can read all about it on Page:19 of my 'Cherry Blossom' restoration thread and here is the Link to that page complete with all the Pics Cleaning my XJS Soft Top with the Original Jaguar Soft Top Cleaning Kit
When I was Cleaning her Soft Top, the Weather was really bad and so the Soft Top took quite a while to thoroughly dry out, which as you will see from the last Photo resulted in bits of Fluff from the Car Cover sticking to it
According to the G.F. the Technical Term is 'Pilling'
But then a few Weeks after that, the Sun began to Shine and all that Fluffy Pilling Stuff completely disappeared
I'll try and find a Photo with the Soft Top up but that could be a problem as if it isn't nice enough to drive with it down, then 'Paranoid Moi' would rather use my daily driver instead
