Nope.
I used a standard "5/8 Water Pump Bearing", sliced the shaft to suit, and used a Dremel to give the flat for the grub screw.
That was YEARS ago, but they were/are a standard item at any half decent bearing supplier, not rocket science by any means,
I Loctited the old hub to the new shaft, Super Bearing Mount was the flavour, just to be safe, probably overkill, so be it.
Back then Jaguar wanted stupid $$ for that item, and I am not stupid.

Thanks to Greg I tracked down an idler pully set up from Andy at "justxjsltd".... Brilliant! Came in a week or so. When i got it it was a little tight. Cleaned it out the best i could then repacked the bearing shaft with bearing grease and a syringe while spinning it by hand. Felt much much better, but I am/was still unsure. I was driving on the highway a couple weeks ago (cant believe how familiar ive gotten to the sound of this car) and I heard a bit of a rhythmic humm... I figure it must/might be connected to what I added last... the ac and the pully...
If just a liiiiittle more detail could be provided on the use of a water pump bearing to replace repair this pully,,, I would be even MORE I debt-ed than I already AM... You guys made it so i can cruise an XJS! Do you know how awesome a gift that is?
