Constant Immobilizer sound- Please help

Not good that it got wet, although it looks like a fully lacqured board so the components might be ok? Can you trace where the white wires go? Do any go to the immobilizer socket on the steering column?
Hi Jagboi64, thanks for the info.

Yes, some wires go to the immobilizer port, some to the start inhibit relay, some to the fuel cut-off inertia switch and some to the Engine ECU. When check the engine ECU wiring, I discovered a pool of water in one of the connectors. There must be a leak above it somewhere. I'm drying everything out now and fingers crossed it hasn't done any permanent damage... I don't believe water got into the ECU as there was a puddle in the connector which hadn't drained away. I'l start looking for a new ECU just encase however hahahahahah

That water leak is also common on the X300 saloons. If the rubber boot on the firewall isn't perfectly sealed the water can run down the wires and right into the ECU.
