After a whole range of issues the last years, I am preparing for re-activating my project again.
The little SKF seal for the pump is one of them.
I have problems ordering from Amazon, but found a listing on eBay, can anyone confirm this is indeed the correct seal? https://www.ebay.com/itm/SKF-527935-...4AAOSwz5Nb4eS3
I’d make sure you specified what MY car you drove.
Ohhh, I thought all XJS owners are old fashioned, and read their forums on the laptop , showing my signature and car info
Thanks for the heads-up though: 1989 XJ-S Convertible V12
My apologies, I did not see the signature on my iPhone.
There was a post about the o-ring that someone clarified from the o-ring store.com
It was part #UL125-0.375-125
I would think most all of these cars had the same hydraulic system to operate the roof? My car is a facelift, so I'm not sure this part will work for you. Maybe cross-referencing the part on JDHT to find out if the OEM part numbers match? If it does, I'd order from this o-ring part store.
