Default Coollant for 4L

I shall be putting the xjs into hibernation in the next couple of weeks, as the car came from FL and is now in PA, I am concerned about the anti freeze that is in the car now. I have been advised by a friend to replace the old stuff with Evans coolant, which means flushing out all the old coolant with a prep solution and filling up with the non-water based coolant. I am asking the forum on any thoughts or advise as to whether I should do this, are there any problems that I might encounter as to draining the block?
Regards
Nick.

The waterless coolants have been thrashed to death on this and every car site on the internet. There are no practical advantages to them once all the 'fluff' and myths have been dealt with.

Save your money and stick with the tried and true OEM recommended stuff.

just replaced Radiator in v12 XJS...

used distilled water... nothing else...

now that I have no leaks.... time for OEM coolant...

(was 1.5 gallons / 4 miles...) so that is why I held off on the coolant...

go with the OEM recommended...

enjoy your XJS gem... it will give you more smile/mile...
