Default Correct wheel jack?

Ok, I'm confused (again). After owning my Cabriolet for some 10 years, I realised the other day I do not have a jack.
But which is the correct one?

Mine is like the first one and Pirk's. Car is 1990.

The round hole in the saddle of the jack fits over the metal nipple type things at each corner of the main body section but make sure they, and the surrounding metalwork, are sound first. I prefer to use a trolley jack on something more substantial at home and keep the car jack for emergencies if need be.

Cheers,
LeeP

Hey Charger

It's the First One on my XJS's but Jacking it up with that hook in handle is a 'Nightmare' as you will find out if you have a practice beforehand, so its better to find a Socket that will fit over the end, or even better still to use a Trolley Jack when possible as has been said

Totally agree with OB. I'd never try and use that to jack the car up. Only reason it's in the car is for show 'n tell. Ditto for the Owner Cassette and Jaguar Cassette cleaner kit just taking up space in the glove box.
