CPS Adventure
After reading some threads on the forum it seems the CPS tends to go out at any time it likes. I'm sure there are many stories that start....when my CPS went out... In any event i believe my went out while it was idling in the driveway. i did some research with this group and came up with some diagnostics and so i felt towards the bracket and the sensor fell off into my hand. Based on info from the group i ordered one from Andy Stodart and it came in in a timely fashion and was installed. Now starting is a little bit more difficult than before and accelerating from a standing start will cause it to die. The car is a '93 4.0 with an engine number of A170157 and i am stumped as to which sensor to order as my copies of the fische copies are difficult to read. I can say for sure that before the car died in the driveway it was running like a champ with no problems. Perhaps a new CPS is needed and happy to get one however not sure it that is the problem and if it is which one to get and whom to order from.
