Damit, what have they done now...?
Just picked up the old girl from the workshop. Oil and coolant change, new compressor and drier and recharge with R134a, alignment etc......lots of folding handed over get home and............
check engine FF 16 WTF WTF WTF....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Just checked an older thread and it hopefully SARC is correct....
FF16 = Intake air temp sensor out of range etc
The air temp sensor is on the left hand trumpet that goes into the aircleaner box. It has 2 wires going to it. As the expansion tank is very, very close by I suspect your mechanic may have dislodged the wires on the air temp sensor.
Have a look under the hood and see if the wires are still connected to the air temp sensor or not. Even if they are, it may be a good idea to unclip the connector, then reconnect it, just to make sure it's seated correctly. You should be able to feel a nice "click" when it connects properly. It's the thing circled in red in the below picture.

mine was plugged on backwards (no codes, it does work on wrong)
it is keyed and should go on one way, some one before I bought the car forced it on the wrong way...
I re shimmed the sensor so it would point the way that made the wires happier and it is on correctly and now snaps home...
