Dana Differential Generic Output Bearing??

Dana Differential Generic Output Bearing??
The '88 XJS Dana output bearing part # shows to be JLM290 in the Jag catalog. This is evidently a dual bearing module (cylinder bearing) rather than the Salisbury style of 2 individual bearings with spacer. The Jag part price of $160+ per bearing per side for this bearing seems high to me. Has anyone ever used a generic version of this bearing? I'm looking for a generic part number and so far I've found what might be the correct number of JRM3535-90U01. I'm sure Jaguar doesn't manufacture bearings and used a commercial bearing manufacturer that probably crosses to an industrial equivalent. Anyone have any experience with this quest???

If you have a good auto parts store with a good older parts person they may even be able to match it up.
Either one of those should be able to find replacement if its available. The bearing will have a manufacturer part number on it.

Thanks Wayne. I have pretty much confirmed what I found for the interchangeable part number listed in the first post and have gambled on ordering one for each output bearing side. The price of what I ordered is $59.79 for each bearing (a double bearing with built-in spacer), not the $160+ for each side that I found online. That's a very substantial cost difference but don't go buy one for yourself until I get mine here in a week or so to confirm they are a direct fir part.
