Dash Light for Aux Fan

Now that I've got my cooling system sorted and working properly, I'd like to have some kind of dash advisory light come on when my aux fan is running. I've read how another forum member ran wires and utilized the caravan light, but a) don't think my car has that light and b) I really don't want to pull the wheel arch and run additional wires between the engine bay and cabin.
So I thought this might work:
My car has no front fog lamps (FFL), but came wired for them like most (all?) '95s did. Got the wiring, fuse, relay, etc. but no switch. If I jump the relay (4th from front on the left underhood panel) the FFL dash light illuminates. Hmmm...
Would there be a safe way to activate the FFL relay when the aux fan relay activates? Wire them in parallel?
Appreciate any advice here, the car is running well and I don't want to burn anything up...
