Distributer Connection to Ignition Amplifier
87 XJS V-12 Lucas Ignition has short harness for pickup in the distributer that has one male and one female pin connector. Amplifier has one small male and one large male blade connector. The schematic for the ignition illustrates a short harness between the distributer and the amplifier. The illustration indicates that the harness is shielded with the shielding grounded to the amplifier case.
I don't have any of the engine harness that was in the car that this engine was removed from. Anyone know a part number for this harness, and Anyone know a supplier?
Can anyone tell me whether the larger or smaller blade terminal of the amplifier connects to the male or female pin connector of the distributer?

Pretty sure the number is DAC3247 which is NLA from Jaguar. Someone here was trying to find the correct connector to make up a new harness.
Might do some Googling. Sometimes these sort of things pop up on Ebay

I can't remember. I'll (try to remember to) look at mine tomorrow
Cheers

RGP, a poster on this forum, has had some made up and they are for sale. You have to replace the connector to the dizzy bottom though. My amp is out the front behind the grille, so I cannot easily see which amp spade has which colour, so I hope someone else will be able to tell you. If you get stuck, and nobody does, post again.

Jagbits has one for $167. Welsh Enterprises has it for $94.55.
Part has been discontinued. The Welsh part that I ordered is aftermarket.
The DAC 3247 part number provided by Doug and XJS V12 made it possible to find one.
I was not able to find one through SNG Barrett
Thank you everyone for the help.
