Do the British have small feet?

True, it must be a Jag thing and not a British thing because my old Triumph GT6 never had this problem. My "British - small feet" title was just a tongue-in-cheek attention getter. In reality I have nothing but admiration for a country that created such a great marque.
But the pedal-crowding in my two LHD Jags is very obvious to me.

Well Gents,
Now that the XJS has been deemed "classic", I would guess many more drivers would be removing shoes and donning slippers of some sort, for the driving experience. If you can wear driving gloves, why not driving slippers? Do ballerina slippers come in leather, size 12?
A pleasant tour in a classic XJS could possibly include driving gloves & slippers, a smoking pipe, a velour coat, and very possibly a silk scarf! A nice brandy by the fireplace would await your return.
Ahhh the finer things in life...
