Whenever possible, I always get my stuff from 'British Parts' and I've always gone After Market
Their Service is Amazing! and the Parts are so perfectly wrapped, that it looks as if they have been sent out from a Top Department Store instead of coming from a Motor Factor and all the Parts they've sent me have a look and quality feel
So I really don't have anyone to compare them with, though from my own experience I'm very satisfied and unlike some of the others who's names I will not mention, they also have a great Website that makes ordering easy
The only thing I would suggest is to get an extra Piston Rubber Seal Kit (without the Piston) as getting those on is a knack as you can easily tear the Rubber with the Spring Retaining Ring when putting that on, as it isn't quite so easy as it looks in those Youtube Videos
Though as Paul (ptjs) says you 'payes your money and takes your choice'
Tonight I did the Grant MOD.
Beer in had... away I went!
We are in lock done... FM.. a couple of cases... really!
Small Drill shows the depth 4mm Stainless screw - dome head 6mm long Test piece 4mm x 0.7 So a 3mm drill is used here. Perfect drill would be 3.3mm - but who has a 3.3mm drill. Could have used 3.5mm but the thread might have been a little loose.! Grease - ready to drill. After drilling.. shows the swaff 4m tap ready to go.. 4mm tap after taping the hole.
Pumped grease after taping... should have done it after drilling but the drill flute pulls that crap out! So.. over kill most likely! Cleaned off - another pump until perfectly clean! Pleased.. Sexy even! Thanks Grant!!!!! I will give it a pump when in stalled, remember the bolt is loose.. Once on the ground..(pump of grease) I'm told by Greg! them tighten the bolt FT .. Then a few more!

Albeit obviously a bit awkward, would it be possible for me to get to that hole on my pre-HE with a 90-degree drill attachment without removing the driveshaft, do you think?
You can get those Brake Pipe Fittings almost anywhere, nothing special about them
Amazon-ebay-Motor Factors and even Accessory Shops, together with a Roll of Brake Pipe Tubing for about $15-$20 and I also use the (Cupro) Copper Type Tubing which is easy to bend and easy to form
If you haven't already got one then you will also need a Brake Pipe Kit $35 which also includes dies to make them with but like refurbing Calipers, there is a bit of a knack to getting it right
And so it may take a few attempts before you think they're good enough to pass Quality Control and in case I forget to mention it, DON'T FORGET! to put the Fitting on the other end before you Form it
OB - that's what i will do... or use the original as with the fancy new wrench I could undo the thing.. but it is rounded.. so a bodge..

I have ordered the parts from Moss Motors, they were the only ones to have jag radius arm bushes... $185 US and I paid the dollars! $745 NZD all up.
Shipping is a killer $119 USD.
Wife will not be a happy camper...
I really do not need new disc's as they are like new, little wear but I did get grease on them and they cleaned up ok. I spend 2 days yes / no /yes / no... if I would buy them.
So No is the answer... I added them and removed them from the shopping cart and the shipping did not change... hell to airfreight these to NZ has to be $$$
So I went yes... for the cost ... no extra freight I could not say no. And mine are fine! But they are NOT new...
My perfectly good discs that do not need replacing.. I think the cage was done at least 10 years ago at a minimum. But I have new discs coming! Cause I really need them LOL but all new will make my heart happy. Recon calipers with new pads, seals and pistons.. OB I purchased extra caliper kits just in case I rip one, like you said. The extra time and money to get them if I stuff one would be too much... Paint.. yes they will be painted.

Missed the thread, got a better offer from teh bloody X Type. HAHA.
You will need to unbolt the driveshaft from the diff, 4 nuts, rotate the shaft so the angle of the dangle allows the hub, with shaft attached, to swing out, GREASE NIPPLE REMOVED PLEASE, and then that hole would be accessible.
Greg did this that way YEARS ago. I did the MK X back in the early '70's, and memory what it is, I forget, but driveshaft out of the hub, NOPE.
All my other cars were done when that shaft was out for any reason, and joy of joys, all those shafts simply slid out, no salt down here.
I have the ABS sensors out of the hubs..
Could I pump grease in to the hub through the sensor hole and use a pusher to pressure the grease in to the hub?
Is this worth thinking about?

I managed to get some paint.... and are buying some bolts from a shop for another project.
They are leaving a bag outside with an envelope.. LOL
OMG I hate lock down, my wife loves it!
Calipers will be painted today!
Calipers are painted, a nice gold colour.
Please with how they came out.
It was raining and about 14c so warming up the calipers to 30c in the oven, then I warmed the spray can and sprayed the calipers in the garage on cardboard.
I hung them above the fireplace to cure... the smell was a little too much for the wife but the result was !!
I'm still waiting on my parts.. they are on their way
Slowly things are starting to happen again.
My Jag parts are still on there way to NZ - its only been 25 Aug - until now and nothing yet.... I look at the mailbox each day with a little skip in my step and then.... ahhhhh not today.
But my plating turned up, or should i say the company opened in level 4 lock down and plated them.
They came out good, I do enjoy working with nicely plated bolts and clean parts, very satisfying. Cost $40
Only one small problem... I am missing this!
They are looking for it tomorrow... fingers crossed!
The million dollar question - have I used enough?
When the cover was on nice and tight there was a small amount of squeeze out all the way around, just a small amount.
When pulling the cover off - these to holes are threaded for inserting bolts to jack the cover off......
All bolted up.. I just need more parts ....................today maybe?
Parts arrived and the caliper pistons where missing - found sdome in NZ - another week lost.
So I got the pistons on Friday.
Time to start the rebuild.
While waiting I painted a top coat on the parts with Hummerite - Black smooth.
I applied it with a brush and it looked terrible, I nearly gave up as i was that disappointed.
Then... in the morning to my surprise it had smoothed out and looked great, a little goes a long way.
I would have used 250mls.,,...
I painted the inside of the brake pistons... these will not rust. Calipers assembled.
Cleaned up the springs.... used VHT high temp Black spray paint...
Following OB build...
Install the springs, I had to ask how tight to do the eye bolt, - firm but enough to allow it to move... defiantly not loose.
