Some posts here have flagged up a warning about a particular supplier. That is sufficient to indicate members should be cautious. This useful thread on electric fans isn't going to sidetrack into personal attacks on suppliers or members.
Everything has been courteous so far - let's keep it that way.
The forum doesn't tolerate "vendor bashing". Experience shows there's often as many positives as negatives and most of the supposed "evidence" is often anecdotal.

I've seen them before and have a rough idea of what is need. It mostly involved using a pipe to run to the inlet side and then finding a good Y-fitting, hopefully avoiding using a T-fitting for flow reasons.
These radiators are much cheaper, available in aluminum with more rows, and look to drop in easily judging by Hep320's picture.
Maybe PM him to ask more about it? This is what I am looking to do after seeing the radiator fit, but haven't thought about the overflow hoses or balancing the two inlets since I'm not closing to working on it right now.
I do know that if my car was overheating or I wanted to keep it cooler, I would much rather figure out this set up, as it would only run around $400-500 total compared to the $500 for the custom XJS dual fans and another $700 for a custom XJS aluminum radiator.

As others, I had ordered multiple things from him online, including the growlers and the radiator. I ordered the twin fans also.
When they arrived and I installed them, the car ran hotter than ever before and was unusable. I bought a hand held digital anemometer and measured the wind speed coming from the fans. In short, the fans on the shroud I got were nothing like as good as even the existing set up. From looking at pictures on his website and doing some research, I found out the the fans he showed on his product are :
14" 2785 fCFM Zirgo Ultra High Performance Radiator Cooling Fan « zirgo.com
(They are marked ZIRGO14 in the picture, and the only way you can get to "over 5000CFM" is to get the highest power fans they make, which is the ZFU14S)
I bought 2 of these fans from Summit racing and fitted them to the shroud from his product and all was well. I communicated with him on the issue and we agreed I would send him the original fans back (at my expense) and I could have something to the same value as I had paid for the summit racing fans ($322). I returned the fans by recorded delivery and got radio silence in return. Eventually I chalked it up to experience, and at least had a cool XJS.
I like Dougs idea...... I bet there is a twin fan set up here in the US that can be easily pick and pulled and will work a treat.....

Those Falcon fans here are just under $200AUS.
The come out of China, where else?.
I cannot imagine there not being a supplier in the USA for them. I will get the Ford Part Number tomorrow when at work, and repost it here, maybe it will convert????.
Also note, that car here is a 6 cyl(4ltr) and a V8 (5.4), and was used as a Taxi which all run on LPG. The fan is the same part number for all 3 fitments.

For those who know nothing of Fords numbering system, 8C607 is the core number, and the suffix and prefix determine the model etc for fitment.
8C607 is always an electric radiator fan.
These are all over ?bay. au, and most sellers state they ship worldwide??.
They are all out of China these days, so maybe Amazon etc in the USA would have them, or at least access to them, dunno.

The radiator is from a ford Mustang, aftermarket 4 core, not a perfect replacement because of size and single inlets.
First I used a Ford two speed fan with Volvo relays, worked well until it started making noises.
It was replaced with dual fans from a Camaro, they were around 125.00 If I remember correctly.
I did use a plastic tee from a ford Taurus, part number C71937, also a pipe from left outlet to right.

For as many years as I can remember we've all been looking for good or upgraded parts to use on our Jags and the source is almost always some other brand of car. But, if you find something that fits and works well...and want to share the good news... it's really important to get the specifics.
Camaro fans? Well, which ones? From the 80s thru present day GM has used umpteen different e-fan set-ups on Camaros.
GM alternator? Which model number or part number. GM has used a probably a dozen basic designs and countless sub-variations over the last 20-30 years
Toyota master cylinder reservoir? Ok, but from what exact year and model?
I could go on but you get the idea.
I'm not trying to pick on anybody.
This come up all the time. I'm just trying to give a nudge to get the best possible information out there!

Instead I want to use the stock shroud and mount a nice high velocity 16" fan in place of the mechanical fan. also i plan to replace the smaller fan with a new one as well. I'm not sure which brand yet but Jegs, Summit carry decent ones with reviews. The Zirco fans seem to be of lower quality. I will let you guys know what I am doing once I figure it out. Thanlks for all of your input!!!

Gents, finally back home.
Radiator, model 381, used in 1972 fords from grand marquis to mustang. I purchased mine from my neighbor, but here is the tags in the box as well as some measurements.
Fans were used in 1989 Camaros, they aftermarket and only this part number could be found in the plastic shroud, 3043-F02.

They are less than 15km from my place.
If I should buy the XJS next week, and if there is sufficient interest, I don't mind to visit them and see if they want to change their mind.
