Default ecu

I've got a new, or another, ecu, it had a 6cu but this new one is a 16cu no DAC4586 £50. Worked out the box but on mot a bit rich. i have it on the boot floor at the moment, ime looking down on the screw to adjust the mixture,
Can you remind me which direction weakens it please as its a bit rich,
also this ecu came with a vacuum capsule should this be kept on the ecu? because its a 16cu or should i sling it?

Sling the vac thingy in the line.
I cannot remember; but it is obvious when you start to move it. As the mixture gets weaker the car starts to chuff ever so slightly, and as it gets richer the idle smoothes out and the motor sounds happier.

Did it with a new gunson gastester works out the anti clock is weak.
​​​​Mine is 3 three clicks back from full anticlock. Finished at 1.8 on the left and 2.4 on the right.
