I purchased an old 1984 XJS 3.6 manual which has been sitting still for 4 years. After changing all filters and fluids I got it running, but now it stops about 10 seconds after it's started. Whenever it stops, it doesn't want to start again until it has been left alone for quite a while.

Based on a few recommendations, I wanted to try two different things to help this:

• Clean out the surge tank (it has been flushed through with some petrol using a compressor)
• Changing the coolant temperature sensor (but I cannot find the right one, I have now ordered two wrong ones!)

Does anyone (1) know the part number of the coolant temperature sensor, and (2) know whether I should be looking at other potential issues as well?
