I'm posting this for anyone looking to find an alternate rear spring for the facelift XJS, non-sportspack models.
The spring is 11-5/8" tall
It is 3-3/4" wide
The coils are 11.7mm thick
The coil is made up of a total of 9 complete turns.
Perhaps this can help someone in the future?

I'm going to add this link to this thread in case anyone is ever curious about spacer effects on the front and rear ride height. (SPOILER ALERT: Apparently you get a three-fold boost on shims. A .125" shim will raise your car by .375")

It does depend what the spring compression rate is Vee. They might be OK. If not there are loads more to your spec on sale in the UK.
