Default Filling convertible resevoir

Mine is low. The only place to fill it looks like it takes a syringe. Can I remove the cap?

Hey Man! Mine has an Allen key bolt/plug on top of the white plastic "tank". Maybe like 6, 5.5 or 5mm. Be careful taking it off. Don't immediately put your shoulder into it if you know what I mean. The plastic can be brittle. Also, fit a new o ring on the plug/bolt... Hope you're well. Peace ✌️

Im getting excited about driving this thing across the USA. It has been 4 years in a shop getting it back on the road again after its dance with a concrete wall.

I have just finished installing the freshened engine in the 928, so Im taking that to Seattle next.

This is just so exciting after having been under military lockdown in Uganda since January, finally being free to move around

Ok so I know I can look it up, but should the reservoir be filled with the top up or down? That's one thing I never really looked into

It is not supposed to matter. I think it should be easier with the top down. But then Im recovering from 6 weeks of boat yoga

There was a bunch of foam bits obscuring the key recess. 10 minute job and it is working again.

Advance Auto carries the correct fluid. Pentosin CHF11S

Cheers

Yep that's where I've bought my chf11s. I did find it cheaper on ebay, but it's worth just going and buying it local

Question how often would you change the fluid?
