greetings all...
after changing sparks/wires, checking what kinda of shape the floor was and all those little things, decided to change the oil...
my explorer 4.0 v6L can fit about 5qrts... after dropping the the old oil in the recycling containing realized that the jag can fit more than 5qrts... so it made me think that may be it was low before and it might fit 8 or 10 qrts...
can someone tell me:
1. how much oil will a 4.0 6I will fit?
2. how much coolant?
3. how much and what kind transmission?
4. how much and what kind rear end?
Thanks a bunch..

1. The engine oil capacity should come in at 9 to 9.5 quarts.
2. Coolant: I just mix 50/50 coolant and water and add as needed. Don't forget to let the thermostats open.
3. Trans: Dexron III. Should be about 5 quarts.
4. Diff: top of the fill hole. Need to find out if you have a power lock or limited slip rear end. If it's limited slip, you need to add Fish oil. Otherwise, normal gear fluid.
