I have a beautiful new OEM set of fog lamps but I can’t figure out how to fit them onto my 1984 XJ-S. Has anyone tried to do this before on the older model year cars that did not come standard with fog lamps? Mine is a 3.6 manual version that was sold new in the Netherlands and brought to the US as a parallel import, so it has the European bumpers.

 

My car is European. These are not stock lights, I don't know what kind of mounts stock lamps have. I made little brackets and used existing bolts under bumper to secure them. With lights positioned low and wide my car looks little bit as a UFO in dark.
