Default Found my dream car

Been looking for awhile. Big Sister to the XJS

first and only Daimler Double Six V12 coupe built in September 74. This actual car was displayed in the 74 Earls Rd motor Show in London before being resprayed red and then dispatched to New Zealand as a NZ new vehicle for 1975

the remaining DD6 cars were built over 75,76,77 years to a total production of 476 + 1 (1974)

happy days

Hi Duke. Officially not for sale, but did some in depth homework and found a serious jag guy here in NZ who is getting on a bit and has lost his mojo. The car is 98% complete and he hasn’t got time to complete. Needs a couple of interior parts finishing and putting back in

it has had over 40k spent in last 10 years including motor rebuild. (The only carbureted V12 coupe in the world)

We agreed a great price which suited both myself and the owner.

i could probably sell for $35k but paid less.

Heading away overseas next week for a month and will get the car delivered then. Will send more pics when it arrives.

Purchased off a really nice fella, who is keen to see her go to a good home.

Heres' a couple more though.

I absolutely love the SII coupe - for me it is the best looking car ever made, bar none. I'm very jealous!

Nice. Very rare indeed, lovely lines.
Harry Metcalfe has a sweet blue one, but not the Daimler version:

HM = Her Majesty?
