my turn signal light (95 XJS - 6cyl) stopped working. Upon examination and after putting in a new bulb - it works occassionaly when I jiggle the bulb. I have tried adding more tension to the inside brass clip, contact cleaner and it only sometimes works by playing around with the ulb in the socket. Does not seem to get full electrical contact.

I figure out that maybe - if the socket was cheap or reasonable - I would get one from Jaguar. They do not sell the socket alone but comes with the full lead, socket and lense ($100). I only need a socket. Is there another socket that will fit? or maybe the existing one can be repaired?
