Other common issues are failing anti-roll bar bushings, or the drop link bushings between the bar and the control arms.

Hi Mbower 1967
I had the same problem and so agree that it could be the Top Bushings on the Shock Absorbers
Its usually a 10 Minute (ish!) Job to replace each side, although on my V12 'Cherry Blossom' someone had gone and used 'Locktite' on the Nuts, which turned a very easy job into a 'Nightmare!'
Having eventually cut the Nuts off, which usually undo easily with a Couple of Spanners, instead of replacing with OEM I decided to make my own, not sure why but as it turned out, you can actually 'Tune the Cornering Roll of the Car' when going round Corners, depending upon what you make them from
After experimenting with cutting them out of Various Materials, from Hard Rubber to Nylon that I cut from a Chopping board with a Standard Hole Saw, the right size for the Job
The Hard Nylon ones cut from the 'Chopping Board' made the Car 'Corner on Rails!' which was maybe a bit too lively for my Style of driving, so in the end I decided to Cut some out from a piece of 'Hard Rubber' that I had laying around in my Garage and the result was pretty much perfect (at least for me)
You can make the Top Shock Bushes out of almost anything and so its really a case of experimentation
Here is how I made them cut out in just a few minutes with a 'Hole Saw'
How I made my own Top Shock Absorber Bushes
